MMConnections was formed to fill an industry gap. Experience recognised inefficiencies on project sites, weaknesses in construction experience and the necessary expertise to connect the pathways of construction from design concept to client handover.

MMConnections provides the needed expertise regarding design consultancy, cost minimisation and experienced construction personnel with the skills and capabilities to meet the necessary challenges to bridge this gap.

Founder & Working Director - Neil Algie

Neil has over 30 years experience in water infrastructure, mining, marine & construction industries. He has held a number of key positions with a focus on Project Construction Management. Projects include greenfield & brownfield mining projects, power stations, marine and water infrastructure up to $5b.

These projects include clients such as BHP, Rio Tinto, Hancock, Glencore-Xstrata, QAL, Sydney Water, NSW & Queensland councils, as well as Tier 1 contractors such as Thiess, Promet Engineering, KBR, SMEC & AECOM.

Neil's role includes consulting on the construction process for PFS & BFS on future projects. As a Construction Director, focus was on feasibility studies & constructability reviews. As a Project Manager, Neil has successfully delivered entire projects through to commissioning stages ready for handover.

Environmental impact studies & indigenous negotiations form part of Neil’s extensive experience. Additional project positions held include Senior Site Executive (SSE).
