Client - Wide Bay Water - Fraser Coast Regional Council

 

Since 2018, MMConnections have provided project management consultancy services for Wide Bay Water's on-going STP project planning, development, construction/commissioning whilst ensuring current safety management systems are strictly in place. This Queensland region has seen a rapid population increase. Efficient Project Management is critical to manage these infrastructure projects which are under considerable time and budget constraints in today's construction environment.

 

 

Client - SMEC/Gold Coast Water - City of Gold Coast

 

MMConnections provide project consulting, design and constructability reviews for the long term recycled water release plan.

 

 

 

Client - Sydney Water

 

MMConnections provide Sydney Water with a multi-faceted role including consulting, constructability and design reviews for existing and future brown field and green field STP projects.

 

Project: Castle Hill WWTP - Bioreactor Aeration Upgrade 

Review and consult on design for brown field project to upgrade pipework with existing plant. Oversee procurement, site contractors, develop planning schedule and manage budget constraints. Commissioning plan, implementation, MDR documentation and handover to Sydney Water.

 

Project: Bondi WWTP - Centrifuge Upgrade

Design, construction, installation and commissioning for brown field project completed within 8 months. Sydney water graded this project with a value of 92% compared to other installations undertaken.

 

 

 

Client - Xstrata Zinc

Project: Lady Loretta - The richest zinc ore body in Australia and the 4th richest globally.

Construction of the ‘flagship’ Lady Loretta mine project commenced in July 2011. This is a greenfield underground zinc-lead-silver mine 140km north-west of Mount Isa.

 

MMConnections head the Project Construction Team. Based on the client’s projected forecast, the construction phase was brought in ahead of schedule by 9 ½ months. The project construction was also successfully completed within budget.

The project challenges included remote location and stringent environmental prerequisites.

 

MMConnections are proud to have been a part of a successful construction phase project, providing a strategic Owner’s Team. The commitment from every member of our team ensured that scheduled deadlines were not only met, but were exceeded with zero incidents recorded.
